Program: Summer Math Camp_2022 (for incoming students from 4th through 12th grades)
Goals:
- Make up lost time due to “COVID slide”
- Build solid foundation and excel in math
Program Descriptions:
- Step One:
- Student takes an assessment test to locate skill gaps
- Personalized Lesson Plan to address missing math skills identified by assessment test
- Tutor teaches student one-on-one using lesson plan from assessment test
- Drill exercises aligned with lesson plan to reinforce math skills just learnt
- Step Two:
- Student takes EOC (End of Course) test to assure student has achieved learning objectives
- Step Three: (Optional)
- Student takes SY22-23 pre-assessment test to locate prerequisite skills for next year
- Personalized Lesson Plan to address missing math skill gaps for next year
- Tutor teaches student ono-on-one using lesson plan from SY22-23 pre-assessment test
- Confident to do well in math next school year!
Program Schedule (Starts on June 6th and ends on July 29th):
Each session last 2 hours from 9:30 to 11:30
- Session A: Morning (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
- Session B: Morning (Tuesday, Thursday)
Cost:
Session A: $119.00/week (6 instructional hours/week)
Session B: $ 89.00/week (4 instructional hours/week)
Fee includes all tutoring, curriculum, tests, homework assignments, and supply
